Summer Camp 2013: Tell Us About Your Group's Twin Cities-Area Camp

Patch is collecting information about summer camps in the area for our guide. This is your chance to tell us about the camp your group, faith community or organization is operating.

The Twin Cities area always has a wide variety of choices for summer camps. We expect that in the summer of 2013, boredom won't be an option.

Organizations from the YMCA to your local parks and recreation department offer dozens of camp choices for science, reading, sports, music and more. If you know of an organization that will be running one this summer, please help us spread the word and get that information collected in the form above.

If you're viewing this page on a mobile device, please consider visiting again when you're at a computer and can see the form on the page.

Missed it for this year, but each February Como Park Zoo and Observatory has a great summer camp fair featuring dozens of camps from all over the Twin Cities:

Seems like it was tilted toward the west Metro, but there are some St. Paul and east metro groups there. Mark it for next year.

Camp Oz which is held in Hudson, WI is a camp for children with epilepsy. A FANTASTIC camp. Lots of great activities. Staffed with medical staff to support these children. Check it out: http://www.epilepsyfoundationmn.org/campoz.aspx. There is also financial assistance for those that need it.

Extreme Faith Camp is a wonderful oppurtunity for Middle Schoolers to grow in their faith and have a ton of fun! Started in 2001, this camp draws middle schoolers throughout the metro area. It allows the teens to encounter Christ is a very personal and real way. It is June 17-23 this year. Check out http://www.stmcatholicchurch.org/youth/ You can watch the video and find out more info by clicking on the EFC flyer 2013.

My son attended Twin Cities Youth Rowing Club camp and absolutely loved it! This was a new sport for him and the coaching staff were amazing well-qualified. I went from observing as a parent to helping as the volunteer recruiter for the club. I am so impressed with their program for middle and high school kids. The staff are very focused on helping this age group build confidence and competency in a sport, with kids are from 35 schools in the metro area. Please JOIN US for Learn to Row camps and clinics this summer on Bryant Lake in Eden Prairie, MN. We are a affiliated with Three Rivers parks and a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
