Apple Valley Senior Speaks at Minnesota Connections Academy Graduation

Graduates of MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, a K-12 online public school that students attend from home, gathered with their peers, families and school faculty during a traditional graduation ceremony, Saturday, June 14, at Edina's South View Middle School.

While students are located throughout the state, many of the one-hundred twelve graduating seniors made the trip to participate in the ceremony and walk across the stage, a rite of passage that represents years of hard work put in by students, teachers, parents and administrators. Rakeyna Sandelin of Apple Valley spoke during the ceremony.
