Dakota County Family Shares International Student Exchange Program Experiences

Hear a Dakota County family's experience with the international student exchange program.

Ever considered hosting an international student and sending your child abroad?

If so, it may be a good idea to stop by the Farmington Library on Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Dakota County family will be sharing their experience with hosting an international student and sending their child abroad. The event is free and all ages are welcome.

Carrie Grimm, a Lakeville resident, sent her daughter to Argentina on an international student exchange program, and in turn, their family hosted a student from Argentina. Grimm's presentation is part of Dakota County Library’s annual Minnesota Mosaic® cultural arts series, which is sponsored by The Dakota County Library Foundation.
