Five Things You Need To Know Today In Rosemount: Feb. 15
A local author, a new budget proposal and lots of local sports top today's "must-know" list.
Welcome to our daily round-up of what you need to know about Rosemount for Tuesday, Feb 15:
1) Gov. Mark Dayton reveals the details of his budget proposal. If you have a child attending a District 196 school, you'll want to watch for details on state funding for K-12.
2) is presenting a talk by Rosemount resident Cary Griffith, a Minnesota Book Award winner and author of Lost in the Wild and Opening Goliath. Co-sponsored by the Rosemount Area Arts Council, the talk begins at 6:30pm at Robert Trail Library.

4) The Rosemount High School boys varsity hockey team is playing Bloomington Kennedy in a game that was rescheduled from Jan. 22. The game happens at 7:30pm at the Rosemount Community Center.
5) The Rosemount High School girl's varsity basketball team are playing Bloomington Kennedy at 7:30pm at RHS.
