When/Where: 8 a.m. Saturday; Eastview High School, Apple Valley

Why Go: Run or walk a 5K, and let your kids do a half-mile or one-mile run to blow off some steam. Proceeds benefit the Eastview National Honor Society Scholarship Fund and academic literacy programs at EVHS.

Pricing: In advance: $25 for adults, $10 for kids; day-of: $30 for adults, $15 for kids

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; Eastview High School, Apple Valley

Why Go: Enjoy the new spring production by local talent

Pricing: $9 for adults; $7 for seniors; $5 for students

When/Where: 2 p.m. Sunday, Burnsville Performing Arts Center

Why Go: Enjoy a performance by 18-year-old pianist Leo Wexler-Mann of St. Paul, who was chosen as the soloist for this year’s Young Artists’ Concert.

Pricing: $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, $5 for students

5. 

When/Where: 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday; All Saints Church, Lakeville

Why Go: The Cretin-Derham Hall theater department presents its spring musical, the story of love and labor issues in a pajama factory, which opened on Broadway in 1954.

Pricing: $8 for students and seniors; $10 for adults
