Get Out This Weekend, Rosemount

This weekend, after the chores are completed, have the whole family experience a hands-on harvesting event; groove to music from the 60’s, enjoy a divergent Disney Opera and burn energy while participating in a variety of fun activities.

When/Where: 8 a.m. -1 p.m. Saturday; Rosemount Public Works Facility

Why Go: Clean out the garage, shed and basement. Bring non-hazardous material for disposal for a reasonable fee.

Pricing: Fees based on material bulk and weight.

When/Where: 5 p.m. Saturday;

Why Go: Bring the kids for an evening filled with activities like climbing in The Blast, shooting basketballs, playing on gym equipment, jumping in a bounce house and watching a movie!

When/Where: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; MN Zoo, Apple Valley

Why Go: Bring the kids for children’s crafts, musical entertainment, butter churning demonstrations and other animal hands-on opportunities.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Saturday;

Why Go: Although no similarity to the Disney film, this is a beautiful 90 minute musical drama.

When/Where: 2 p.m. Sunday;

Why Go: Reminisce to a performance of classic 60s tunes from the female artists of the era.
