Go Stargazing at Black Hawk Middle School

Take a family-friendly course in astronomy, courtesy of District 196's Community Education program.

Explore the sky, searching out star clusters, nebula and perhaps a nearby galaxy as part of a family-friendly astronomy course offered by District 196's Community Education program.

The couse is scheduled from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at Black Hawk Middle School in Eagan. The cost per family is $20. Click here to register for the course.

A large telescope will be provided. Class meets outdoors at Black Hawk Middle School. Please dress for the weather. Make-up date is Friday, May 17, if the weather is cloudy.

The course is taught by Stephen Engel, who has an educational background in physics, astronomy and computer science and a lifelong interest in space exploration and astronomy with star-gazing events.
