Pet of the Week: Mira is a Loving Lab Mix With a Great Temperament

Mira is 55 pounds and a happy, playful dog who adores everyone she meets and has a great temperament.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Mira is a lovely one year old lab mix who was found along a country road alone and pregnant. A good samaritan picked her up and took her home where she had two big puppies. They have been adopted already and mom is now ready for her forever home.

Mira is 55 pounds and a happy, playful dog who adores everyone she meets and has a great temperament. She is house trained, crate trained, and loves to play with toys. Mira likes other dogs and would to have another playful dog in her new home and an active family. She walks pretty well on the leash and enjoys going for long walks and playing in the fenced-in yard.

Mira is good with school aged kids and will be a wonderful dog for almost any family. She is a young and playful dog, very puppy like and obedience training will be helpful for her in learning basic commands. Mira is with a 501c3 non profit rescue.

Please view her webpage http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/24617914 as it will provide further information about her adoption criteria, fee and full veterinary care. Mira has already been spayed and won't be having any more puppies in the future.
