Rosemount Residents: Host Your Own Blog on Rosemount Patch

Passionate about a certain hobby, or about issues in Rosemount? Have an engaging writing voice? Already a prolific blogger? These things and more would make you perfect to blog on Rosemount Patch.

In addition to providing some of the most locally focused news coverage for Rosemount, Rosemount Patch also wants to be a hub where local voices can be heard.

Patch launched a blog platform—sort of like an open community opinion page—recently, and we're looking for even more Rosemount residents to host their own blog on the Rosemount Patch site. Scroll down the home page to where it says "Want your voice heard on Patch?", or see the entire section by clicking the Local Voices link under the News tab on the homepage.

The blog section is a place where readers can check out what the voices in their community have to say about goings on in or outside the city. For the most part, anything goes if it's legal. We want bloggers to own their blogs. In fact, Rosemount Patch doesn't own the blog content that bloggers post, meaning authors can repost their stuff on other sites. Those who blog on Rosemount Patch aren't paid.

Please visit this page to send me, Rosemount Patch Editor Jennifer Pfeffer, a little more about yourself and your blogging interest. I look forward to hearing from you!
