Grab a free root beer float at 10:30 a.m. Thursday before the day's tractor events.
Stop by the free entertainment stage at the Dakota County Fairgrounds at 10:30 a.m. Thursday for a free root beer float before you get ready for the 1 p.m. tractor parade. Stay into the evening for the 7 p.m. tractor pull event at the grandstand, and take in the music of the Johnny Holm Band afterward.
(And don't we wish we could weasel our way in as judges for the pie contest...)
