Yet Another 35E, 35W Road Closure Looms this Weekend
Highway 13 is also in the mix, meaning Apple Valley and Rosemount drivers headed out and about for the weekend should plan accordingly.
Apple Valley and Rosemount weekend drivers will encounter a detour and possible delays as northbound Interstate 35W closes between the I-35/35W/35E split and Highway 13 beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. All lanes are scheduled to re-open by 8 p.m. that same day.
Beginning at 6 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 southbound I-35W will be a single lane between Highway 13 and the I-35/35W/35E split. All lanes on I-35W are scheduled to re-open by 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
These closures are necessary as crews resurface the roadway beneath Highway 13.
