Begorrah! It's Leprechaun Days!

Rosemount's signature festival kicks off this weekend.

If you haven't already made plans to visit Rosemount's signature summer festival, you'd better get on that, stat!

Leprechaun Days began on Friday, with a canned food drive and a morning puppet show at four city parks. The festivities continue all day and into the night with a square dance from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Things kick off again Saturday with a road race and continue for an entire, jam-packed week. The events include a blood drive, bluegrass festival, a hip-hop concert, traditional Irish dancing, a fishing derby, a fair, and fireworks. Check the full schedule for more information.

This year, one of the most fun—and perhaps silliest—parts of Leprechaun Days will also serve as a fundraiser. The Bathtub Races will help raise money for refugees living in Haiti and the Dominican Republic through the nonprofit One Rosemount, Feeding Families, according to The Sun This Week.
