District 196 Film Festival

The District 196 student film festival includes films submitted by middle and high school students from the district, all shown at the Great Clips IMAX theater on the morning of March 5.

Film categories include public service announcements, commercials, experimental and music videos, stop motion and animation, narrative short films and news and documentaries.

Rosemount High school teachers Mark Hubbard and Jim Norris teach a film and video career development course at the school and decided to develop this film festival to showcase the students talents.
