No rain in the forecast today, and milder temps. Time to head outdoors.

  1. Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 86, and calm winds, according to the National Weather Service. And still no rain in the forecast tonight: partly cloudy, low around 66, light winds.
  2. It’s another jam-packed Leprechaun Days schedule: a youth fishing derby from 9 to 10 a.m. at Schwarz Pond Park; an Irish dance with the Mooncoin Ceili Dancers from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Robert Trail library; family fun night from 5 to 10 p.m. at Central Park, with rides, games and entertainment; a zombie leprechaun apocalypse survival workshop from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with zombie survival authors John Olson and Bud Hansel from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Robert Trail library; and photo contest viewing and awards from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Steeple Center.
