  • Click, Clack, Moo! with SteppingStone Theatre

    Where:
    Meeting Room, Galaxie Library in Apple Valley
    Description:
    While Farmer Brown is sleeping, Duck and the other animals are planning a most unusual fishing trip. Explore numbers and letters through creative dramatics, inspired by the popular picture book series by Doreen Cronin. Registration required. A Minnesota Legacy Program. Ages 3.5 to 5 years old.

  • eBook Basics

    The Robert Trail Library in Rosemount
    Description:
    This class will give you a basic understanding of the materials for electronic book readers available from Dakota County Library. You'll receive instruction on searching and downloading from OverDrive as well as basic information on transferring eBooks to hand-held reading devices. Prerequisite: Computer Basics or equivalent experience. Adults welcome.

  • Waggin' Tales

    Description:
    Bring your kids into the library to read to certified therapy dogs. It's not only fun, it helps develop reading skills and fluency.

  • Make & Take: Hardware Jewelry
    When:
    11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 15.
    Where:
    The Galaxie Library in Apple Valley
    Description:
    Create funky jewelry from hardware items to wear yourself or give as gifts and help make books and music recommendations and plan library programs with the Teen Advisory Group from 1-1:30 p.m. Teens ages 12 to 18 welcome.
