Music in Kelley Park Gets a Bonus Round This Saturday

Popular Apple Valley outdoor concert series extending the season with a bonus event planned for this Saturday.

The Apple Valley Arts Foundation has announced that their popular Music in Kelley Park concert series is being extended for another round. The summer-long free concert series has proven a hit with local residents and organizers have decided to get one more evening of food, music and outdoor fun in to close out the season this Saturday.

The series had originally been scheduled to end Aug. 5.

The bonus event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 17 at . The park is located at West 153rd Street and Founders Lane.

Vendors will again be on hand to supply tempting aromas and liquid refreshments for concert attendees. The Laurent Brothers (of Four Degrees of Freedom) have been announced as supplying the musical entertainment for the evening.

Admission is free for the event and attendees are encourage to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoor performance.
