The Go-Go's Kick Off Summer 'Music in the Zoo' Concerts

The Go Go's hit the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater stage at 8 p.m. Tuesday as the first of 34 concerts at the zoo this summer.

The '80s pop-rock girl group The Go Go's will kick off this summer's 34 "Music in the Zoo" concerts at the Minnesota Zoo with a performance at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the zoo amphitheater.

Group members Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock and Kathy Valentine are stopping at the zoo as part of their nationwide "Ladies Gone Wild!" tour. Tickets are still available and are $68.85, which includes tax and fees; your concert ticket also gets you admission to the zoo after 4 p.m. (zoo is open until 6 p.m.). Amphitheater doors open at 7 p.m.

The next zoo concerts are the at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and a sold-out at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
