'The Voice' Star Nicholas David Giving Free Performance in Rosemount
Nicholas David, who took third place on NBC's 'The Voice' last year, will perform at the Church of St. Joseph in Rosemount at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The singer, who took third place last year on NBC's "The Voice," will give a free, public performance at the Church of St. Joseph in Rosemount at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The singer graduated from St. Joseph School in 1995—long before he was catapulted into the national spotlight on NBC's televised singing competition. Now, he plans to perform "Over the Rainbow" with St. Joseph students as part of a community celebration. All are invited to attend the performance.

The Church of St. Joseph is located at 13900 Biscayne Ave. W., Rosemount. Turn east from Highway 3 (Robert Trail South) on Connemara Trail, then south on Biscayne Avenue West.
"We at St. Joseph and Dakota County and the entire Twin Cities simply want to congratulate our local humble hero," the Rev. Paul Jarvis wrote in an e-mailed invitation. "And the best way to celebrate what God has given us is to re-gift our giftedness to others."
