What's Closed on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in 2012?
Apple Valley city offices and District 196 schools are among the organizations closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
If you need to take care of business at any of these Apple Valley establishments, you'll have to get in before Monday, or wait until Tuesday. The following offices and businesses are closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day:
- All city offices at the and
- Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan public schools
- Apple Valley's United States Postal Service branch; there will be no mail delivery on Monday
- Dakota County and all other Dakota County libraries
- Dakota County offices, including the in Apple Valley
- Most banks ( is one that's open Monday)
Most other businesses are open normal hours.
