BLOG: John Kline and Pat Hall—Invisible Representation

I realize that this is a Republican leaning area, but aren't we still entitled to hear from the candidates? Aren't we at least entitled to hear from them on what we can expect from them going forward?

Congressman John Kline seems to have disappeared. There was a sighting at the Elephant Club recently, but you have to be a loyal GOP donor to be there.  As for debates, Kline is always "busy" and "unavailable."

Locally, Pat Hall is the GOP candidate for Senate District 57. He was a no-show at the education forum for the district which that place in Eagan. No explanation was given.

Are our votes being taken for granted? Do Republicans feel that they only need to represent the "red" parts of their districts?

I am tired of invisible representation. We still have a right to hear from them.
