Meet Ben, Sam, Sydney, and Nikia from Legally Blonde!

"Hi I'm Ben Lanning, I am a member of the ensemble in Legally Blonde, I love the entire show but my favorite number is Legally Blonde Remix. I am in 11th grade and my favorite part of being in theatre are the people involved, we have a fantastic cast filled with fun and talented people."

"My name is Sydney Laylin and I play Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde. I am a junior and I have been involved in three years of theatre at Eastview. My favorite number in the show is "Gay or European" because it's full of energy. You can tell the whole cast and ensemble has a great time performing it and the audience will have a great time watching it."

"Hi! My name is Nikia Brown, Kia for short. I'm in the 9th grade at Eastview High School. In the musical, I play a Delta Nu sorority sister which is really, really fun! My favorite song in the musical...I just like every song! I've loved this musical, and wanted to be in it as long as I could remember, haha! I love our all white delta nu costumes, and our Jail costumes, because it's such a contrast to the seemingly pristine girls, to the tough, hardcore jail tennants. This isn't my first show, I've been in Wizard of Oz, Abracadabra Aladdin, Seussical the Musical, High schoolers Guide to the Galaxy, Mystery at Shady Acres, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Willie Wonka! My favorite part of rehearsals here, are becoming closer with the cast, and at the end of the shows we're like family. I love Eastview High School Theatre, because kids come from middle school already set on what they want to join, or know they'll join, like Basketball, Soccer, or Dance. But with theatre, there's always a huge risk, and it's kind of exhilarating! You put everything on the line for this, put yourself out there until your vulnerable, knowing that if you don't get in, that's it, there's nothing else that would fit for you. So I love theatre, because I have a chance to be me, and not be judged for it."
