New Features on Rosemount Patch: Traffic, Gas Prices and Media Gallery

Not a week goes by that Rosemount Patch doesn't work toward being more useful and easier to use.

This week, Patch rolled out two notable new features—the Traffic & Gas tab and .

Click on the Traffic & Gas tab in the navigation bar at the top of the site and you can consult a real time traffic map complete with incident reports and construction notices. With this map, powered by Mapquest, you can also find the lowest gas prices in Apple Valley and Eagan. We're still tweaking this feature, so (polite) feedback is welcome if you see any glitches.

Your Neighborhood Gallery

Ready, set, upload! You can now upload random photos and videos straight to Patch without an article already existing on the topic.

Did you spot a flash mob at the grocery store? Was someone's old couch unceremoniously dumped into your favorite park? Are you building the world's finest tree fort in your backyard?  Simply click the "Add to Neighborhood Gallery" button located near the top right of our homepage, and upload.
