Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Rosemount

The National Weather Service predicts that as much as four inches of snow could fall on the southeastern metro area.

Rosemount could pick up as much as four inches of snow beginning late Tuesday night and extending into Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters issued a winter weather advisory for the southeastern portions of the Twin Cities metro area late Tuesday afternoon. In addition to the overnight snow, blustery 15-25 mph winds could cause snow drifts and visibility problems across Minnesota. Areas of southeastern and south central Minnesota are expected to receive heavier accumulations of snow — as much as six inches in some places, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory remains in effect until 6pm Wednesday.
