Dakota County Regional Chamber Voters' Forums

The Dakota County Regional (DCR) Chamber of Commerce will be hosting school board candidate forums for Independent School District 196 and Independent School District 197 this month.

The Independent School District 196 (Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan) School Board Candidate Forum will be on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 from 7:30am to 9 a.m. at Rosemount City Hall (2875 145th Street West, Rosemount).

There are four candidates in District 196 are running for open seats:

• Craig M. Angrimson
• Art Coulson
• Gary Huusko
• Mike Roseen

The Independent School District 197 (West Saint Paul, Mendota Heights, Eagan) School Board Candidate Forum will be on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 7:30am to 9:00am at the Mendota Heights City Hall (1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights). 

Four candidates are running for open seats:

• John Chandler
• Dewayne Dill
• Matthew Klein
• Stephanie Levine

This is a an opportunity for community members to be actively involved in the political process regarding the ISD 196 and ISD 197 school boards.
