Disappointment in all our elected officials
Disappointed in your federal elected officials trying to solve a serious problem last week? Who is to blame and who can correct this from happening again?
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. If both the democrats and republicans are against deficits, why do we have deficits? If all politicians are against inflation and high taxes, why do we have inflation and high taxes. They have the power to change it but they don't want to change it!
You can't blame a president for submitting a budget that no one likes, because by law, he can only submit a budget. The house of representatives has the power to originate and approve a budget and if it gets vetoed, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. The president cannot force congress to accept his budget.
We are a nation of over 300,000,000 people and if we can't elect 545 human beings (100 senators, 435 congressmen, 1 president & 9 supreme court justices) that can truly lead this country out of our misery, then we should all shut up and watch us fall behind the rest of the world! We have the power to change, not a politician, we do! And until WE THE PEOPLE take back control, don't blame anyone except yourself! Its not a party problem, its a people problem!
