Ineffable Vote—Senator Clausen Votes for Huge Tax Increase

I was incredibly disappointed to see Senator Greg Clausen vote to increase our taxes by $1.8 billion.  What’s worse is that he originally voted against the tax increase but then switched his vote after DFL party bosses made him vote for the tax increase.

Doesn’t Sen. Clausen understand that this bill isn’t a tax increase on the wealthy?  This bill includes a huge income tax increase on the middle class and taxes all Minnesotans by expanding the sales tax to clothing, over the counter drugs, haircuts, oil changes and many other services.

During the last election, the voters wanted less partisan games at the State Capitol and I’m disappointed to see Sen. Clausen vote with the DFL party bosses instead of the hardworking taxpayers of Senate District 57, Apple Valley and Rosemount.
