A 53-year-old Apple Valley man was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon with potentially life-threatening injuries after a three-car crash in Apple Valley.
At 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, Apple Valley police were notified of a three-car crash at the intersection of Galaxie Avenue and Founders Lane.

Officers who responded found the driver and sole occupant of a Toyota Rav 4, the 53-year-old Apple Valley man, had been ejected from the car and was lying in the road.
Officers, firefighters and paramedics provided emergency medical services on scene, and the man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries.

The man's name is being withheld until his family can be notified.
The other drivers involved in the crash were uninjured. Witnesses at the scene told police the Rav 4 had been traveling north on Galaxie when it hit two vehicles at the intersection of Founders Lane.
Apple Valley police and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
