Bomb Threat Reported at Apple Valley Walgreen's Store

The drug store on Pilot Knob was evacuated after a bomb scare late Wednesday morning.

Police evacuated an Apple Valley drug store on Wednesday after it became the subject of bomb threats.

According to the Apple Valley Police Department, authorities were called to the Walgreen's at 14020 Pilot Knob Road around 11:30 a.m. on report of a bomb threat. The store was evacuated and the immediate area was secured. The Apple Valley Fire Department and a K9 Unit from the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport Police Department were also called to the scene.

A similar threat was reported in Rosemount as well. As of Wednesday afternoon, no further information was available pertaining to the Rosemount incident.   

No explosive devices were found. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. The investigation is ongoing.
