The Corvette did not stop when police activated their lights and siren but instead continued driving on Brockway Avenue before accelerating sharply onto eastbound Brass Parkway.

Eventually, the convertible pulled into a residential driveway and Illetschko, after opening his door "rapidly," according to the criminal complaint, was arrested.

Police said Illetschko smelled strongly of alcohol and his speech was slurred. He was booked into Dakota County Jail and later released.

Illetschko was convicted of drunk driving in Yellow Medicine County, Minn., in 2009.
