According to Dakota County criminal complaints, Deshawn Terrel Bowens, 19, and Edward Terrel Bowens, 22, both of Apple Valley, were seen riding in the passenger seat and cargo box of a maintenance worker’s golf cart at a Galaxie Avenue apartment complex. A juvenile was identified as the driver.

The maintenance worker told he had left his work golf cart in the underground garage while he was working on another part of the property. Upon returning to the garage, the golf cart was missing from where he left it.

After a search, the maintenance worker spotted the three men driving the golf cart on the other side of the parking garage. According to the complaint, upon seeing the maintenance worker, the golf cart driver turned around and drove in the opposite direction before the three men got out and fled away on foot.
