Jeremy Dean Zittel, 28, was charged with felony second-degree assault for allegedly pulling a gun during an attempt by the mother to pick up her four-year old daughter in Rosemount.

A 28-year old Rosemount man was charged with felony second degree assault on April 1 for allegedly pulling a gun on a woman who was attempting to pick up her four-year old daughter.

According to a Dakota County criminal complaint, a woman identified as “KD” called and told them her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Dean Zittel, pulled a gun and told her to “(expletive) off” when she attempted to pick up her daughter from Zittel’s house in the 3200 block of Corliss Trail on April 1.

The woman said Zittel initially pointed a silver pistol at the ground but then raised the gun and pointed it at her.
