Man Taken to Hospital After Motorcycle-Car Crash in Apple Valley

The 45-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was taken to Fairview Ridges with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 45-year-old Apple Valley man was taken to the hospital after being involved in a motorcycle-car crash just after noon Tuesday in Apple Valley. His injuried were non-life-threatening, Sgt. John Bermel said.

Police were called to the scene at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, where the man's motorcycle and a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Lakeville woman were involved in a crash just south of the intersection of County Road 42 and Pennock Lane, Bermel said.

The man was taken to Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville; there is no further information on the nature of his injuries, Bermel said.
