Police Chase Suspect Down Busy Apple Valley-Rosemount Roads

After losing a biker after a lengthy, eight-minute chase through Apple Valley, police set up a perimeter and found the man. Audio shows the chase lasted more than eight minutes.

A motorcyclist led police on a chase through Apple Valley-Rosemount Monday afternoon after he was pegged speeding, passing cars and weaving through traffic on Dakota County 42 near Shannon Parkway. 

A chase began around 1 p.m. and Dakota deputies ensued, weaving down County 42 and eventually losing track of the biker around Dodd Road. 

After setting up a perimeter, law enforcement were able to snare of the offender about a half hour after the chase.
