Rosemount Woman Charged After Allegedly Falling With Infant in Arms While Drinking

Kristina Timkin, age 19 of Rosemount, is charged with gross misdemeanor neglect of a child after police say that after drinking alcohol, she fell while holding her infant child, injuring the child.

According to the criminal complaint, the infant's father reported to police that he spoke with Timkin on Oct. 14, and she sounded intoxicated. He allegedly heard the 3-month-old crying, and Timkin told him someone had dropped the infant, the complaint says. He and his mother went to the house, where they found the infant had injuries to her face, and took the baby to the hospital.

The complaint says Timkin also went with them, but could barely walk and fell off a chair.

A couple weeks later, Timkin met with police and said she had been drinking vodka that day, and remembered falling with the infant in her arms. She said she wasn't sure how she fell, but gave a couple possible scenarios of things she could've bumped into, the complaint says.

She told police she didn't believe the infant's injuries were a result of her level of intoxication, according to the complaint.

Timkin is schedule to appear in court Sept. 17

Apple Valley Store Employee Accused of Stealing Adderall From Package He Assembled

Jesse Douglas Johnson, age 19 of Farmington, is charged with felony theft and fifth-degree controlled substance possession after police say he stole Adderall pills he was supposed to pack and ship at his place of employment.

According to the criminal complaint, in February a woman brought in several loose items to an Apple Valley packing and shipping store to have shipped to her son, including a T-shirt, cookies, magazines and prescription Adderall.

When her son received the package, he said the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue magazine had notes written on it, and the Adderall—two prescriptions for 30 tablets each—wasn't inside, the complaint says.

The store manager told police Johnson had signed off on the package, but couldn't find the document with the package's contents, the complaint says. Surveillance video allegedly showed Johnson handling the transaction, writing notes, packing and unpacking the box multiple times and removing an item.

Johnson came to the police department and said writing the notes on the magazine was not a "good choice," the complaint says, but said he didn't take the Adderall and asked for a lawyer.

Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on July 16.

Rosemount Restaurant Employee Charged With Making Fraudulent Credit Card Transactions

Joshua Thomas Mullin, age 23 of Rosemount, is charged with felony financial transaction card fraud after police say he used a woman's credit card to make several purchases, allegedly on behalf of a friend.

According to the criminal complaint, the woman reported an unauthorized $257 transaction at a Rosemount fast food restaurant made on Dec. 22.

Surveillance video showed employee Mullin swiping a credit card at the date and time of the transaction, the complaint says. The woman also reported several other transactions made that same day and the day before, at the restaurant and other locations, totaling $336.03.

Mullin agreed to meet with police, and said a friend had asked him to use the credit card to buy beef jerky, then the next day to get money from the restaurant, the complaint says.

He said he made a transaction but then canceled it, and when his friend asked for another $250 he then changed his mind, so Mullin said he never took any money from the register or safe, according to the complaint.

Mullin is scheduled to appear in court on July 23.
