The homeowner said she had been away for about two hours in the middle of the day, and when she returned, she discovered that someone had been in her bedroom and stolen a television, a PlayStation 3 gaming system, a DishTV box and a laptop.

The woman said it seemed the person had also gone through her jewelry box, but she couldn’t tell if anything was missing. She told police it appeared that the suspect had entered the bedroom through an open ground-floor window, which had a damaged screen but wasn’t visible from the street because a large hedge was in front of it.

Another resident of the home told police later in the day that his MacBook computer had also been stolen.

Police found fingerprints on a glass television stand, and they were submitted to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) for analysis.

On July 27, the BCA determined that three of the fingerprints belonged to Moore, who had been babysitting in June in a home next door to the burglarized house, according to the complaint.

Police spoke to Moore by telephone on Sept. 27. She allegedly confirmed that she had been arrested and fingerprinted in the past, but said she had not been in the burglarized home.

Moore, who was living in Rosemount at the time, was convicted of theft in Dakota County in 2006.

Moore’s address is unknown, and she refused to give police a mailing address. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.
