If you see an unfamiliar brightness in the sky this morning, don't be alarmed. We call it the "sun."

  1. Finally, the National Weather Service is predicting mostly sunny skies today, with a high near 75 and calm winds, becoming light and westerly. Tonight’s low will be around 55, with partly cloudy skies and calm winds.  
  2. The Rosemount City Council has a special work session scheduled at 6 tonight in Rosemount City Hall. One of the items on the agenda is a discussion of senior housing proposals. Work sessions are intended for council members and staff to discuss items for future council agendas; public comments aren’t generally solicited, but the public is welcome to attend. 
  3. The (SMART) will meet at noon at Anchor Bank, 9202 202nd St. W. in Lakeville. The organization is made up of Lakeville area business professionals who meet to network and share leads. More information is available from Brian Betts, (612) 363-6769, or via e-mail.    
  4. The Draw the Line Minnesota Redistricting Commission will host a at Burnsville City Hall to solicit input on the state’s upcoming congressional and legislative redistricting. Interested residents are invited to attend.
