3 Finalists Named for Rosemount Police Chief

The public is invited to meet the candidates at an Aug. 1 open house; the city council will interview the finalists again on Aug. 6.

Three finalists have been named for the Chief of position with the city of Rosemount. Finalists, in alphabetical order, are:

  • Jewel Ericson, police lieutenant in Rosemount and current interim chief
  • Michael Marben, police captain in
  • Eric Werner, police captain in Burnsville

The public is invited to meet three finalists during an open house from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at in the city council chambers. This is a drop-in event; there will be no formal program.

The Rosemount City Council will conduct formal interviews on Aug. 6.

The finalists were selected following interviews by two panels of people from within the community and city staff, as well as the police chief of a neighboring community.
