Noise Ordinance Changes on Apple Valley City Council Agenda

The city council also will introduce its preliminary 2012 budget at its informal meeting on Thursday.

The Apple Valley City Council on Thursday is scheduled to vote on an ordinance to modify the part of the city code regulating sound from audio equipment at commercial establishments that have music or other entertainment in their outdoor patios and dining areas.

The council before voting on them, to explore whether the changes as written also would apply to residential areas.

At its informal meeting, prior to the regular 8 p.m. meeting, the council is set to hear about the preliminary 2012 budget.
