U.S. Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) stopped at and on Thursday amidst a tour of several locations in the south metro this week.

At Southview, Franken read aloud the book Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, and also answered student questions, from what his job involves to whether he has met the president to whether he speaks any foreign languages (answer: a little German).

At Valley Middle, he took questions from students and talked about his issues of focus; he emphasized the importance of education, telling students he believes education leads to innovation.
