Road Work Along Cedar Avenue: Sept. 6-10

A stretch of 160th Street will be closed late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

New road work slated for Cedar Avenue this week:

  • The right-turn lane onto 150th Street from northbound Cedar will be closed on Tuesday. Cars still will be able to turn right, but trucks will not.
  • The right-turn lane onto Cedar from westbound 150th will be closed Tuesday. Cars still will be able to turn right, but trucks will not.
  • 160th Street between Cedar and Granada Avenue (west of Cedar) will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Existing road and lane closures that will continue are:

  • closure of sidewalks along both sides of Cedar from 147th to 157th streets. These began July 25.
  • closure of northbound and southbound lanes of Cedar between 147th Street in Apple Valley and Dodd Boulevard.
  • traffic cannot cross Cedar or turn left in Lakeville at 162nd, 167th or Upper 167th streets.
  • closure of the northbound and southbound Apple Valley transit stations at 155th Street West and Cedar, for utility work. Buses will pick up and drop off at the old transit station on Gaslight Lane during this time. Riders still are advised to park in the ramp near the newer stations and walk to the old station. The stations closure is slated to continue through October.
