Cedar Park Educators Work STEM Day at Minnesota State Fair

Teachers from the Apple Valley magnet school manned a booth with science- and math-oriented activities.

Educators from the in Apple Valley taught kids and adults at the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday.

On the fair's opening day, it was STEM Day, short for Science, Engineering, Technology and Math. The Apple Valley magnet school was one of several schools to have booths at Carousel Park on the fairgrounds in St. Paul.

Ann Bernard and Brenda Rutledge ran the booth. Science- and math-oriented activities were available to kids and adults, and they also networked and educated people about Cedar Park.
