District 196 School Board Approves Final Budget
After careful review, the district unanimously voted to approve its budget for fiscal year 2011-12.
The Monday unanimously passed its 2011-12 budget of about $348 million, which includes all funds.
The school board adopted the preliminary 2011-12 budget on June 27, 2011 using 2011 enrollment projections, and has since made some adjustments to the budget. The proposed final budget was reviewed by the School Board Audit and Finance Committee on Dec. 12, 2011.
