Eastview Community Foundation Seeks Three New Board Members

Parents, school staff encouraged to apply.

Eastview Community Foundation supports academics, arts and athletics in the Eastview High School attendance area. The foundation was established to not only support Eastview High School but three middle schools and six elementary schools that feed into EVHS. The foundation is made up of 13 volunteer board members and no paid staff. All the funds raised are directed to the schools and academic community.

Thanks in part to the generous financial support of individual donors and businesses in the Eastview community, the Eastview Community Foundation has been able to award:

  • More than $125,000 in grants to the Eastview School Community,
  • 715 scholarships, totaling nearly $400,000, to graduating seniors of Eastview High School and the School of Environmental Studies.

The academic community served includes Highland, Diamond Path, Greenleaf, Thomas Lake and Oak Ridge elementary schools; Black Hawk, Falcon Ridge, and Scott Highlands middle schools; the School of Environmental Studies, Eastview High School and Dakota Ridge.

Parents or staff from any of these schools are encouraged to apply. Volunteers with expertise in marketing/public relations and membership development/fundraising are especially welcome.
