Our Backyard/Our World Speaker Series: The Science & Culture of Wolves

Dan Stark, wildlife specialist with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, will discuss his work managing and researching the Minnesota wolf population while Dr. Mitts-Smith, author of Picturing the Wolf in Children’s Literature, will discuss how wolves have been portrayed in legends, fairy tales and stories throughout different cultures and societies.
