Safety Camp

For children entering grades 2-5 in Fall 2011.

On behalf of the Rosemount Police, Fire, and Parks and Recreation Departments, we invite area youth to explore and learn about the many different safety issues kids encounter on a daily basis. This day-long special event includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedures, poisoning prevention, personal safety, animal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety, first aid and equipment safety – all in a fun, informative atmosphere.

Safety Camp will end with a closing presentation by Underwater World! Children should bring their bike and a helmet with them if they wish to participate in the bike safety course. A sub sandwich lunch will be provided and each child will receive a T-shirt. New sessions are added each year; sign up again even if your child participated last year! Preregistration is required, so sign up early.
