Photos: Art Students Deck the Halls of Think Mutual Bank in Apple Valley

School of Environmental Studies students painted a mural on the glass windows at the bank.

A group of students used their artistic talents to create a holiday mural at Think Mutual Bank in Apple Valley this holiday season.

Led by SES teacher Amy Levine, students painted winter scenes on the floor-to-ceiling windows at the bank.

"What better way to decorate for the holidays than to give a group of such talented students the opportunity to showcase their art in such a public location?" wrote bank branch manager Sonya Busch in an email.

Busch said the community is lucky to have teachers in the district willing to spend extra time with students on their projects outside the classroom.

The bank will host a holiday open house from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 20, where there will be refreshments. The mural will be on display through the end of the year, and the community is welcome to view it any time.

"It is very important to Think Mutual Bank to be active and engaged members of the communities in which we serve," Busch wrote.
