Rosemount High Marching Band Earns Honors in Recent Competitions
The Irish take home first-place honors in Eden Prairie and at the Minnesota State Fair, and a second-place trophy at the Eastview Marching Festival.
EASTVIEW MARCHING FESTIVAL RESULTS
Eden Prairie, Grand Rapids and Minnetonka earned top honors in their respective classes at Saturday evening’s Eastview Marching Festival at Eastview High School.
Seventeen high school marching bands presented field shows to the six-judge panel. In addition, host Eastview High performed an exhibition.

ROSEMOUNT TOP BAND IN EDEN PRAIRIE
Early in the day on Saturday, Rosemount and Eastview took part in the Prairie Colors Festival marching band competition at Eden Prairie High School.
Rosemount earned top score about the four Class AAA band in the event and won awards for best color guard, percussion and drum major. Eastview was third and won an award for best wind section.
ROSEMOUNT FIRST AT STATE FAIR
The Rosemount High marching band took over first-place honors in the recent Minnesota State Fair’s marching band competition.
Rosemount was judged as the top band in the 11-school Class A division and earned the highest score among the 27 schools taking in the competition.
