Rosemount Students Named To Dean's List
Here is a rundown of some of the local students named to their college Dean's List.
Each week, we'll be highlighting some of the college accomplishments of Rosemount residents.
*** Jenna Mushro of Rosemount, MN, has been named to the Dean's List at Drake University. Mushro achieved this academic honor by earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the Fall 2010 semester at Drake.
*** Collin Anderson, Rosemount, has been named to the University of Minnesota, Morris Dean's List for the 2010 fall semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List students must achieve a grade point average of 3.66 or higher while taking 12 or more credits.
*** Mari Levorson Feld of Rosemount, Minn. has been named to the Dean's List at Ripon College for the fall 2010 semester, which recognizes academic excellence. Feld is a junior Religion major with a minor in English . She is the daughter of Mr. Bruce Feld and Ms. Kirsten Levorson of Rosemount, Minn.
To qualify for the Dean's List at Ripon College, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work.
*** Molly Driessen, a resident of Rosemount, MN and a member of the class of 2012, has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the Fall 2010 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.
*** Emily Hemker, daughter of James and Lisa Hemker of Rosemount, Minn., was named to the Dean's Honor List at Morningside College for the 2010 fall semester.
Hemker, a senior who is majoring in business administration, is a past graduate of School Of Environmental Study.

Each semester the Dean's Honor List recognizes students who achieve a 3.67 grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of course work with no grade below a "C-." William C. Deeds recently released the fall 2010 Dean's Honor List, and each student received a letter of recognition from Deeds.
*** Michigan Technological University has released the Dean's List for the fall 2010 semester. To be included, students must achieve grade point averages of 3.5 or higher.
Among the honorees is Gregory Belshaw of Rosemount, a Mechanical Engineering major .
