Apple Valley, Eastview Dancers Set to Perform Annual Showcases

The Apple Valley and Eastview high school dance departments both put on their spring performances this weekend.

Take a load off this weekend, and come out to Apple Valley or Eastview high schools as their students get up and move during their annual spring dance showcases.

The dance department presents "Move Revolution" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Move Revolution will "celebrate and honor the power of finding voice and identity in today’s society through reflection on global issues." It will feature 150 students performing cultural, modern, hop hop and contemporary numbers, as well as films before the show, created by choreography and media students.

The dance department will perform "Dance Scrabble" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Dance Scrabble will feature performances by all dance tech classes, as well as solos, duets, small groups, partner dances and the school's .

Tickets for both shows are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
