Apple Valley High School Softball Coach Resigns
The school will take applications for a coach to replace Carla Christiansen until July 27.
The athletics department has announced that head softball coach Carla Christiansen will resign.
Christiansen has led the Eagles softball program since the 2003 season, according to a news release. This season, the team finished with a 13-9 record.
Christiansen was also an assistant coach for six years prior to becoming the head coach. She will remain at Apple Valley High School as a health and wellness teacher and chairperson for the physical education department.

Candidates interested in the softball head coaching position should submit a cover letter and resume to Pete Buesgens, AVHS athletics director, by July 27.
